Wrong Number

One of the characteristics of a man is to fight for the things that he thinks is right but only few people are brave to fight for it until the end. With that kind of attitude, it is really hard for a human to accept that he committed a mistake or he was wrong about his idea.

Since he used to be the president of a school organization related to Math subjects, everybody expected that it will be much easier for him to answer Math questions and Prime numbers given by our teacher. To our surprised, he can’t answer those questions and asked for Geometry help and Chemistry help from one of my classmates. Then another weird thing is when he went in front of me and told me to give Physics help and Chemistry homework help which he really needs to understand more of our topics, nobody knows the reason behind it.

In the Schoolroom

Until 1870, children in England did not have to go to school. Children from rich families went to school but poor families could not not afford to pay for education. Poor children had to go to work to help their parents. After 1870
the government made school places available to young children for a very smallpayment. By 1902 education was free and every child aged between five and thirteen had to attend school.

At school, children were taught reading, writing, arithmethic and religion. The children sat at their desks, chanting spellings and tables over and over again and copying words onto slates. At other times they did some geography and history, drawing, singing, and physical exercise. Disciplinewas very strict and children were beaten if they made mistakes in their work.

They are used in medicine to treat diseases, ease pain or control the appetite in dieting. They are used for sedation, social relaxation, relief from tension, boredom, and anxiety. They arealso used for pleasure, to satisfy, open the mind to new feelings of sensitivity, bring about a bond of fellowship among persons, increase sexual performance, and give more “meaning” to life.

Misuse of barbiturates, especially alcoholic beverages, is one of the major social, medical and economic problems confronting our society today. It is a tragic problem affecting men and women, regardless of education, religion, sex and culture. The users of these substances do not seem to mind the potential dangers to their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. Medical science has proven that the indiscriminate use of these substances, in the long run, may cause a person to lose his capability to think clearly and to reason out well. Such malpractice may also caused one to become violent and predisposed to self-destruction. The social problems resulting from misuse of depressants, particularly alcoholic beverages, are reflected in the family through misery, poverty, broken homes, neglected children, unemployment, and accident.
